Kita-ku, A meeting to create a children’s playground in Kita Ward

赤羽の児童館か何かでチラシをもらい、プレーパークのことを知りました。ただの公園ではなく、プレーリーダーがいてくれて、他のこども達も集まって、自然の中で外遊びの機会をもてるのがプレーパークです。

私のはっちゃんは３年くらい断続的にプレーパークに通っていたので、その体験を今日は書きたいと思います♡うしし♡

I got a leaflet at Akabane Children’s Center or something and learned about Play Park. This play park is not just a park, it has a play leader, and other children can get together and have the opportunity to play outside in nature.

北区のプレーパークとは？

What is Kita Ward’s play park?

プレーパークは「北区で子供の遊び場をつくる会」という地域団体が主催している事業名です。プレーパークは東京都北区だけではなく、「子どもの遊び場確保」事業として全国で行われています。

Play Park is a business name sponsored by a local organization called “Kita Ward Children’s Playground Creation Association </a>”. Play parks are held not only in Kita-ku, Tokyo, but throughout the country as a “children’s playground securing” project.

◎子供の遊び場確保とは？

平成２４年の東京都千代田区での「子供の遊び場確保」検討会の資料によると、急速な都市化により子供の外遊びの機会が奪われている、外遊びを通してたくましく育つ機会が奪われていると書かれています。

「外遊びなら、公園に連れてってるわ！」と思われるお母さんも多いことでしょう。

でも、「子供の遊び場確保」事業で狙っている外遊びとは、

の３つを通した外遊びです。確かに、お母さんと二人で行く公園とは違った外遊びって保育園とかに行っていない時期はできないし、いまは習いごとしてる子が多くて待ち合わせもしづらいですからね～。

プレーパークできること（その１）：お母さんはキャ～！の泥まみれ♡

私の通っていたプレーパークでは、本物のお鍋やお茶碗などのおままごと道具を貸してくれ、それを使って子供たちは泥だらけになっておままごとをしていました。室内でやる、きれいなおままごととは違うんです。水を使うから、おたまですくうのも上手になるし、「あ、こぼれた」とかの失敗もたくさんできます。

At the play park I used to go to, they lent me tools such as real pots and bowls, and the children were muddy and playing house. It’s different from the beautiful play house you do indoors. Because it uses water, it is good at scooping ladle, and you can make many mistakes such as “Oh, spilled”.

プレーパークできること（その２）：異年齢の子供と「あ！それダメ」などの揉め事も体験できる

プレーパークでは１、２歳の子供から小学生までの異年齢のこどもが一緒に遊びます。はっちゃんが通って始めてた時は１、２歳でしたが、おままごと道具を使っていたら「あ！ダメ～」と男の子に取り上げられてしまいました。

逆に、他の子と外遊びをしていると急に仲良くなったりしてママそっちのけで二人でラブラブになったりとか、いろんな経験ができます。既にお友達になっている子と公園に来るのとはまた違った面白さがプレーパークにはあります。

At the play park, children of different ages, from children aged 1 and 2 to elementary school students, play together. I was one or two years old when Hatchan started attending, but when I was using the house tools, the boy picked me up saying “Oh! No!”.

On the other hand, if you play outside with other children, you can suddenly get along with each other, and you can have various experiences, such as becoming a love lover with your mom. Play Park has a different kind of fun than coming to the park with a child you already have friends with.

プレーパークできること（その３）：木にロープをぶらさげたブランコ等のワイルドな遊具で遊べる♡

プレーパークでは自然と一体化して遊べます。落ち葉で遊んだり、火を起してマシュマロを焼いてみんなで食べたり。中でも私が「いいな～！」と思ったのは、この木のブランコ。いまの私の体重で乗ったら木がメリっ！としちゃいそうですが；完璧に規格された遊具だけでなく、こんなワイルドな遊具って子供にとって大切だよな～！と昭和５１年生まれの私は思うんス。

At the play park, you can play in unison with nature. Play with the fallen leaves, start a fire and bake marshmallows to eat together. Among them, the one that I thought “I like it!” Is this wooden swing. If you ride with my current weight, the tree will be sharp! It seems like it’s going to happen; not only perfectly standard playground equipment, but such wild playground equipment is important for children! I think I was born in 1976.

北区にプレーパークは３つあります。スケジュールを確認して、行ってみませんか？

幼児～小学生向けに以下の３つの場所で定期的に遊び場を提供してくれています。コロナ禍の現在でも定期的にやってくれていて、公式ホームページやfacebookでスケジュールをチェックできます。

北区中央図書館の横が芝生になっていて、その隣らへんが「いなりプレーパーク」です！

場所：①北区立桐ヶ丘中学校裏または②袋町公園（赤羽北3-11-10,ﾒｶﾞｼﾃｨ東側）

桐ヶ丘プレーパークは月ごとに①と②の２か所で交互に開催されています。

プレーパークの利用方法！寄付は必要？持ち物は何がいる？

How to use the play park! Do you need a donation? What do you have?

プレーパークはだいたい１０：００～１７：３０くらいの時間帯で平日または土日に開催されています。（場所によって開催曜日は固定されています。）プレーパークには優しいプレーリーダーが常駐していて、私がいていった時は若い女性とおじさんを見ました。

利用する際には、利用者の名前などを受付で記入します。子供の年齢やどこに住んでいるかなども記入しますが、それで実際の利用者数などを把握されているんだと思います。

利用料は無料ですが、寄付箱が設置されています。私はこの事業が続いてほしいので、１００円程度入れています。汚れるので着替えと、あとは水筒。レジャーシート、おやつやおにぎりなんかを持っていくとバッチリです！

The play park is held on weekdays or weekends from 10:00 to 17:30. (The day of the week is fixed depending on the location.) A friendly play leader was stationed at the play park, and when I was there, I saw a young woman and an man.

When using, enter the user’s name etc. at the reception. I also enter the age of the child and where he lives, but I think that he knows the actual number of users. The usage fee is free, but a donation box is installed. I want this business to continue, so I’m putting in about 100 yen. It gets dirty, so change your clothes and then a water bottle. It’s perfect to bring a leisure sheet, snacks or rice balls!
