アート好きの方がこぞって絶賛する原美術館。久々に行ったら、なんと２０２０年に閉館するんですね；さみしい、、。大学時代に友人と何度も行った「原美術館」。

今回のこどもとおでかけのテーマは、品川区の原美術館です。

奈良美智の可愛らしい部屋もある原美術館の魅力とは？

私が大学に在籍していたのは１９９６～２０００年でしたが、マガジンハウスの「GINZA」や文化出版局の「装苑」などの雑誌をよく買って読んでいました。そのオサレ雑誌でよく紹介されていたのが、この私立美術館の原美術館です。原という名前は、創立者の俊夫氏で、実業家原六郎のひ孫。出身も学習院なので、原美術館もインテリ＆品の良さ満載です。

原美術館は、上野美術館や東京都現代美術館に比べると小規模な美術館です。１階と２階があり、全部で１時間弱ですべての展示は見られます。企画展が随時開かれていますが、常設作品には１階奥の奈良美智さんにより可愛らしいお部屋も♪あの大きな目の女の子のキュートさと毒々しさとポップさが堪能できます。

それから、私の大好きな作品の名和晃平氏の「シンセンス」も廊下に飾られています。

The Hara Museum of this private museum was often introduced in the fashion magazine. The name Hara is the founder Toshio, the great-grandson of the businessman Rokuro Hara. I’m from Gakushuin University, so the Hara Museum is full of intellectuals and good quality.

The Hara Museum is a smaller museum than the Ueno Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. There are 1st and 2nd floors, and you can see all the exhibits in less than an hour. Special exhibitions are held from time to time, but the permanent work also has a cute room by Yoshitomo Nara at the back of the first floor ♪ You can enjoy the cuteness, poisonousness and pop of that big-eyed girl. Also, my favorite work Kohei Nawa “Synsense ” is displayed in the hallway. ..

原美術館は２０２０年１２月で閉館；どうして？跡地は何になるの？？

原美術館は１９７９年生まれで今年４０年目を迎えます。（⇒私は’７６年生まれだから、近いネ！）原美術館は日本の美術館として多くの挑戦と革新を行ってきました。まず、日本の美術館としては珍しいその外観。初期モダニズム様式のこの建物は、戦後でも特に増築される以外は驚くべき耐久力で現在まで同じ原型をとどめています。

また、今では当たり前になっているミュージアムカフェも原美術館がその走り。「美術館の中にある喫茶店でこんなにお洒落なんて！」と、瞬く間に原美術館のマネをしてカフェを併設する美術館も増えたのです。

そんな原美術館の閉館の理由ですが、建物の老朽化と近年の美術作品の大型化がひとつの理由と言われています。小規模の美術館は大型美術館にない良さがあるので、閉館については非常に残念です。跡地の利用についてはまだ検討中ということで、今後注目が集まります。

The Hara Museum has taken on many challenges and innovations as a Japanese art museum. First of all, its appearance is unusual for a Japanese museum. This early modernist building remains the same prototype to this day with amazing durability, except for the post-war expansion.

It is said that one of the reasons for the closure of the Hara Museum is the aging of the building and the recent increase in the size of art works. It’s a shame about closing, as small museums have some advantages that large museums don’t have. The use of the site is still under consideration, so it will attract attention in the future.

ハラミュージアムアークとは？

原美術館は閉館となりますが、収蔵作品は群馬県渋川の「ハラミュージアムアーク」に引き継がれるとい言われています。それに伴い、ハラミュージアムアークの館名が「原美術館 ARC（アーク)」に変更となるそうで、東京都品川と群馬県渋川市の融合、といった感じになるそうです。ヨカッタです。

そんな原美術館の「メルセデスベンツ・アートスコープ展」（現在終了）に行ってきました。メルセデスベンツの車の展示？？と一瞬思いましたが、メルスデスベンツ日本と日本・ドイツによる文化・芸術交流事業の展覧会でした。イヤホンを使った展示や赤いカーペットに金色の球がひとつ置いてあるだけなど、アート好きにはたまらない視覚・聴覚を刺激する内容。

コロナ対策として、Webで事前予約が必要です。

内容ですが、正直幼児さんや小学生低学年には「？」の内容だったと思います。

原美術館のカフェ・ダールのデザートが激うま！お近くの方は、閉館前に是非行ってみては？？

原美術館の館内は全面的に撮影厳禁なので写真がお見せできないのですが、はっちゃんと私はピスタチオのアイスとパイの間にアイスクリームなどがサンドされたデザートをいただきました。どちらも1,000円程度でしたが、ホテルのパティシエ作ったみたいに美味でした。

カフェだけでもまた行きたい、、！８月の後半に行きましたが、店内に５組いたゲストは私達親子以外はすべて男性または女性のおひとりさまでした。

I can’t show you the pictures because it’s strictly prohibited to take pictures inside the Hara Museum, but Hatchan and I had a dessert with ice cream sandwiched between pistachio ice cream and pie. Both were around 1,000 yen, but they were delicious as if they were made by a hotel pastry chef.

I want to go to the cafe again! I went to the latter half of August, but all the five guests in the store were male or female except for us parents and children.

The Hara Museum is a 15-minute walk from the Takanawa Exit of JR Shinagawa Station! You can also use the free bus to Tokyo Marriott Hotel.

子供と真夏に歩くのは遠い原美術館。私はよく考えずにタクシーに乗ってしまいましたが、原美術館から徒歩２～３分の「東京マリオットホテル」までは無料の往復バスがでています。

As an aside, the Gotenyama Garden near the Hara Museum is also very nice.

原美術館に来ただけでは交通費と時間がもったいなかったので、はっちゃんと私はそのすぐ裏にある御殿山と東京マリオットホテルを散策しました。御殿山は東京屈指の高台ですが、太田道灌が江戸城に入る前に城を構えていた場所だとか。

庭園は程よい感じの広さで、植物が枯れないようにしっかり手入れされています。さすが品川区！

時間が間に合ったので、東京マリオットホテルのモーニングも堪能しました♡コロナ禍なので、ビュッフェではなく個別対応でした。結論：オムレツやエッグベネディクトなど卵料理がめちゃくちゃ美味しく、料理全体のクオリティーがとても高いと思いました。また是非行きたいです！（アートより食い気；）

I enjoyed the morning at Tokyo Marriott Hotel because I was in time ♡ It was a corona sickness, so it was not a buffet but an individual response. Conclusion: Egg dishes such as omelets and egg benedict are insanely delicious, and I thought the quality of the whole dish was very high. I definitely want to go again!
