その続きとして、今回はJR京葉線・新浦安駅から徒歩８分の「若潮公園」をテーマに、こどもとおでかけ！をしてみたいと思います。

As a continuation of this, we will go out with children under the theme of “Wakashio Park”, which is a 5-minute walk from Shin-Urayasu Station on the JR Keiyo Line! I would like to do.

若潮公園？交通公園？「どっちが正しい」問題

Wakashio Park? Traffic park? “Which is right” problem

私、実家は新浦安と市川塩浜の間らへんです。なので、若潮公園については全く知らない人よりはちょっと知っています。（⇒そんなんで記事にすな～！）

で、そもそも「若潮公園」という名前ですが、ある日疲れちゃって新浦安駅からタクシーに乗って「若潮公園に行ってください」と運転手さんに言うと、「え？どの公園？」というわけです。

My parents’ house is between Shin-Urayasu and Ichikawa Shiohama. So I know a little more about Wakashio Park than anyone who doesn’t know it at all. (⇒ That’s why I don’t write an article!)

So, the name is “Wakashio Park” in the first place, but one day I got tired and took a taxi from Shin-Urayasu Station and said to the driver, “Please go to Wakashio Park.” ..

わたし「（え？どっきり？）いや、ほら、あの、交通公園みたいなやつで～。」

I “(Eh? Hidden camera?) No, you see, it’s like a traffic park.”

運転手さん「ここまっすぐ行って、右に曲がるとこ？ああ、それだったら、交通公園じゃないのかな～？」

Driver “Go straight here and turn right? Oh, isn’t it a traffic park?”

こんな事があったんで、ネット検索してしまいました。

Because of this, I searched the net.

へ？美浜二丁目15番まで住所同じ、、！じゃ、やっぱ同じ公園なんだね！いや、芝生の部分が若潮公園、その裏側にある乗り物がある部分が交通公園、だね。交通公園（若潮公園）てことね。安倍総理と安倍首相（もう辞めたけど）みたいな感じですかね～！スッキリ。

What? The address is the same up to Mihama 2-15, …! Then, after all it’s the same park! It’s a traffic park (Wakashio Park). It feels like Prime Minister Abe and Prime Minister Abe (although I have already quit)! Refreshing.

若潮公園に行くためのバス停はどこにある？

Where is the bus stop to get to Wakashio Park?

若潮公園（交通公園でもいいけど）にバスで行くには、東京ベイシティバスという路線バスが便利です。若潮公園は、以下の６つのルートで停車します。

浦安駅や新浦安駅・舞浜駅方面からは、若潮公園はアクセスしやすい公園ですね。

Wakashio Park is an easily accessible park from the direction of Urayasu Station, Shin-Urayasu Station, and Maihama Station.

コロナ禍での若潮公園！どうやって利用するの？

Wakashio Park in Corona How do you use it?

わたしたちは何度も若潮公園に行っていますが、直近だと２０２０年の７月５日に行きました。モロ、コロナど真ん中の時期ですよ。

We have been to Wakashio Park many times, most recently on July 5, 2020. It’s the middle of Moro and Corona.

事前予約は必要ありませんでしたが、入り口のところで入場制限をしていました。何人か出たら、次の何人かを入れる、というように、建物の中の人数を管理していましたね。あとはマスク・検温・入館時の名前などの記入、手指の消毒もやりました。

No advance reservation was required, but admission was restricted at the entrance. You managed the number of people in the building, such as putting in the next few people when some people came out. I also filled in the mask, temperature measurement, name at the time of admission, and disinfected the fingers.

若潮公園（交通公園）では何が楽しめる？

What can you enjoy at Wakashio Park (Transportation Park)?

広大な芝生があり、そこにポニーやヤギがいて、子供が楽しめる乗り物（自転車など）があり、建物内にはまた小動物や遊具や図書室や水槽などがあります。

コロナ禍では建物の２階は営業停止中で、売店は普通に営業しています。

There is a vast lawn, there are ponies and goats, there are vehicles (bicycles, etc.) that children can enjoy, and there are also small animals, playground equipment and a library in the building. And aquariums.

①バッテリーカーや自転車などの【乗り物系】

天気の良い日には思いっきり乗り物に乗りまくれます。道路側からは見えづらいかもしれませんが、中には交通公園らしく信号機や踏切もあります。交通ルールを楽しく学べますね。

子供用の自転車もあるので練習ができますが、コロナ禍の時に行った時はなくなってました。バッテリーカーもなくなってました。

When the weather is nice, you can ride the vehicle to your heart’s content. It may be difficult to see from the road side, but there are traffic lights and railroad crossings like a traffic park. You can enjoy learning traffic rules.

②【動物】とのふれあい、エサやり体験

若潮公園には動物も生き物もたくさんいます。動物はポニー、ヤギ、うさぎ、カピバラ。（他にもいるかもしれません）。あとは亀や魚系もたくさんいます。

本当は動物へのエサやり体験ができるのですが、コロナのため中止となっています。残念です；

There are many animals and creatures in Wakashio Park. Animals are ponies, goats, rabbits and capybaras. (There may be others). There are also many turtles and fish.

Actually, you can experience feeding animals, but it has been canceled due to corona. I miss you;

③なぜか丸い【タイル】の上を歩く

For some reason walk on round tiles

あとは外の芝生で丸いタイルの上に乗ることですかね！ｗだって、ここにいる人は必ず丸いタイルの上に乗ります。
