[Hanno City] Moominvalley Park is the best! I played at Athletic PANZA Miyazawako

埼玉県の飯能市にムーミンバレーパークができたことはテレビで知りました。今流行のインスタ映えしそうなフォトジェニックなテーマパークという印象。日本人のスマホ写真撮り好きには自分を含めて疲れていたので、別に興味はありませんでした。

I learned on TV that Moominvalley Park was established in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture. Impression that it is a photogenic theme park that seems to be trendy on Instagram. I was tired of Japanese people who like smartphone photography, including myself, so I wasn’t interested in it.

しかし、11月の３連休。とても天気が良かったんです。３連休とも自然に触れないのはもったいない！と、急にぬぉ～！と気持ちが盛り上がりまして。家をかなり遅く出てムーミンバレーパークに到着しました。

However, three consecutive holidays in November. The weather was very nice. It’s a waste not to touch nature during the three consecutive holidays! Suddenly! I was excited. I left home quite late and arrived at Moominvalley Park.

チケットはベネフィット・ワンで購入しました。有効期限の見間違いについて

I bought the ticket at Benefit One. About misunderstanding of expiration date

私はおでかけが大好きなので、その分、毎回割引については調べています。ムーミンバレーパークの割引は、たった３００円しかなかったです；

I love going out, so I check for discounts every time. The discount at Moominvalley Park was only３00 yen;

でも、300円でも割引ないよりかはいっか。（前売りより１００円しか変わらないけど；）旦那の会社の福利厚生のベネフィットワンで見つけたデジタルチケットを事前に購入していました。

But even 300 yen is better than no discount. (Although it’s only 100 yen different from the advance sale;) I bought the digital ticket I found at Benefit One of my husband’s company in advance.

そこで、大きな勘違いをしてしまったのですが、チケット販売期間は2021年3月末と書かれていたのに、チケット有効期限が3月末までなのかとご認識してしまいました。

So, I made a big mistake, but I realized that the ticket sales period was written as the end of March 2021 but the ticket expiration date is until the end of March.

しかし、（今日、今からムーミンに行こうかな～）とチケットを表示されると、有効期限が１１月２３日、つまり、今日になっていました。ふ～！スリル満点！あやうく、4,000円近くがパ～になるところでした。

However, when the ticket was displayed (I wonder if I should go to Moomin today), the expiration date was November 23, that is, today. Hmm! Thrilling!
Alas, it was about to cost nearly 4,000 yen.

ムーミンバレーパークは埼玉県飯能市の豊かな山々と宮沢湖にある、テーマパークです。乗り物がたくさんあるガチャガチャした所ではなく、①オシャレなカフェが好き②北欧が好き③新宿嫌い、のように、心をホッとさせ自然を感じるのが好きな方にぴったりの場所です。

Moominvalley Park is a theme park located in the rich mountains of Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture and Lake Miyazawa. It’s a perfect place for those who like to feel relieved and feel the nature, such as (1) like fashionable cafes, (2) like Scandinavia, and (3) hate Shinjuku, rather than a place with lots of vehicles.

私は今回急にムーミンバレーパークに行こうと決めたので、バスを降りたらすぐにムーミンが出てくるのかと思ってました。

I suddenly decided to go to Moominvalley Park this time, so I was wondering if Moomin would come out as soon as I got off the bus.

しかし、まずは「メッツァ」というやたら北欧感のあるオシャレなお店やレストランが並ぶショッピングエリアが先にあり、そこをまっすぐ行くと宮沢湖が見えてきて、左に曲がるとムーミンバレーパークに到着する、という流れでした。

However, first of all, there is a shopping area called “Mezza” where fashionable shops and restaurants with a Scandinavian feel are lined up first, and if you go straight there you will see Lake Miyazawa, and if you turn left you will arrive at Moominvalley Park. It was a flow.

この他、このあとご紹介するPANZAという空中アスレチックと提携ホテル（外部）もあるのですね。いや～、思ったより広い規模感でした。

ムーミンバレーパークでじっくりムーミンの世界観に浸りたい。周辺地域も共に楽しみたい。

予期せずPANZAに入ることに

I decided to enter PANZA unexpectedly.

私は結構いきあたりばったりの性格なので、今回のムーミンバレーパークも電車の乗り換えと営業時間だけスマホでチェックしました。

I have a pretty random personality, so I checked this Moominvalley Park on my smartphone only for train transfers and business hours.

で、飯能駅に着いたのが１５時前。この日、ムーミンバレーパークの閉園時間は１７時。結構ギリですよね。

So, I arrived at Hanno station before 15:00. On this day, Moominvalley Park is closed at 17:00. It’s pretty close, isn’t it?

なのに、うちの小１はっちゃん（アスレチック好き）がムーミンバレーにあと少しで着くというところで「ママ！これやりたい♡」とPANZAに目を輝かせてしまったのです。

However, when my small one, Hatchan (athletic lover), was about to arrive at Moominvalley, she said “Mama! I want to do this ♡” and shined my eyes on PANZA.

ムーミンバレーパークの手前、左手に網の巨大トランポリンみたいのが見えてきたら、それはＰＡＮＺＡです。私、これもムーミンのチケット料金に入ってると思ったら、別料金でした～！

If you see a giant net trampoline on your left in front of Moominvalley Park, it’s PANZA. I thought this was also included in the Moomin ticket price, but it was an extra charge!

ますますムーミンに間に合わないやんけ！と一瞬迷いましたが、はっちゃんがやりたがってることは基本的にやらせたいので「いいよ～、入ろう～」と言いました。

More and more Moomin isn’t in time! I was at a loss for a moment, but I basically wanted to do what Hatchan wanted to do, so I said, “OK, let’s get in.”

まずは料金を支払い、腕チケットを巻き、ロッカーに荷物を入れます

First, pay the fee, wrap your arm ticket, and put your luggage in the locker.

入り口には元気なスタッフの方がいますので「やりたいです」と言いましょう。すると、「今からだと○時の回ですがいいですか？」と確認され、右手のチケットブースを案内されます。料金は前払い制の現金です。

There is a cheerful staff at the entrance, so let’s say “I want to do it”. Then, you will be asked, “Is it okay to start at XX?” And you will be guided to the ticket booth on your right. The fee is prepaid cash.

うちの小１「はっちゃん」は結構ビビりなのですが、このPANZA（いや、ファンモック？）に関しては全然怖がらず、とても楽しそうでした。

My small one “Hatchan” was pretty scared, but I wasn’t afraid of this PANZA (no, fan mock?) At all, and it seemed to be very fun.

私もアスレチックは結構行ってますが、こんな森の中のネット張ってるのは初めてだなあ。いや～、遅くなったけどムーミンに来てよかったです。（⇒その代わり、ムーミンはあんまり見れなかったけどね；）

I also go to athletics quite a bit, but it’s the first time I’ve put up a net in such a forest. No, it’s late, but I’m glad I came to Moomin. (⇒ Instead, I couldn’t see much Moomin;)

ファンモックは父親と息子、という組み合わせの方も結構いました。男の子が本気でジャンプすると、わたしたち母娘は軽くふっとび、スリル満点す。休みたい人は専用のおやすみコーナーがあり、休めます♡

そんな訳で、ムーミンバレーパークに着いたのはなんと１６時過ぎ；（17時閉園で）まあ、少しでも見れたらいいよね～！と、はっちゃんとのんびり見て回りました。

「ストーリーガイド」という、園内の複数個所においてあるリーフレットを集めるのが楽しかったです。子供ってスタンプラリーとか好きですからね。

That’s why I arrived at Moominvalley Park after 16:00; (closed at 17:00) Well, I wish I could see it even a little! I took a leisurely look around with Hatchan.

カップルが多いムーミンバレーパークでしたが、母娘二人旅もよいぞ！景色が絶景なので、なんだか心が洗われるようですし、コンクリートジャングル（⇒言い方古い！）の東京に住み生活してるので、こんな森や湖を見るだけで心が癒されます。

It was Moominvalley Park with many couples, but it’s good to travel with mother and daughter! The scenery is superb, so it seems to wash my heart, and since I live and live in Tokyo in the concrete jungle (⇒ old way of saying!), Just looking at these forests and lakes will heal my heart.
