ある日、どうしても銭湯ではなくもう少し大きいお風呂に入りたくなりました。Google先生に聞いたところ、「ん～♡戸田の七福の湯がいいんじゃない？」と教えてくださったので、子供とおでかけすることにしました。

One day, I really wanted to take a bigger bath instead of a public bath. When I asked Google Sensei, he told me, “Hmm … ♡ Toda’s Shichifuku no Yu is good, isn’t it?”, So I decided to go out with my child.

埼玉はスーパー銭湯の宝庫♡

Saitama is a treasure trove of super public baths ♡

うちのお風呂はぶっちゃけ足を伸ばせません。そう、大人なのに体操座りです、、！なぜかというと、リフォーム時にリビングを広くしたくて代わりにお風呂を狭くしたからです！

I can’t stretch my legs in my bath. Yes, even though I’m an adult, I’m sitting in a gym …! The reason is that I wanted to make the living room wider at the time of remodeling and instead narrowed the bath!

そのため、私は頻繁にはっちゃん（小１の娘）と共に銭湯に行きます。銭湯も昔よりは高くなりましたな～。でも、光熱費を考えたら、娯楽の中ではかなり安い部類ではないでしょうか。

Therefore, I often go to public baths with my daughter (1st grade daughter). The public bath is also more expensive than it used to be. However, considering the utility bill, it is a fairly cheap category in entertainment.

「じゃらん」さんによると埼玉にはスーパー銭湯が多く、しかもバリエーションが豊富とのこと。結局、「七福の湯」が気になったので早速行ってみることにしました、、！

According to “Jalan”, there are many super public baths in Saitama, and there are many variations. After all, I was curious about “Nanafuku no Yu”, so I decided to go there immediately!

How to access the natural hot spring “Nanafuku no Yu Toda”and business hours

天然温泉　七福の湯はチェーン店です。戸田店の他には「前橋店」と「上越店」があります。

戸田店へはJR京浜東北線「川口駅」またはJR埼京線「戸田公園駅」からバスで行けます。

川口駅からの場合、西口（改札降りて左の方）を降りたら道なりに進みエスカレーターで下におりましょう。

バスに乗って７つ目が「喜沢橋」なんで、そこで下車します。バスの本数は時間帯によって１時間に３本なんで、真冬や真夏はキツイですよ、、！こちらの時刻表で調べてから行ってください。

Take the bus and get off at the 7th “Kizawabashi”. The number of buses is 3 per hour depending on the time of day, so it’s tough in midwinter and midsummer! Please check this timetable before you go.

また、営業時間は2020年３月に行った時は短縮されていた気がしますが（⇒うろ覚え；）、今ホームページを見ると通常営業となっています。そのため、特に予約も必要ありません。

Also, I feel that the business hours were shortened when I went in March 2020 (⇒ I remember it;), but now when I look at the homepage, it is normal business. Therefore, no reservation is required.

ショック！我が娘（６）がバスの中でパンダのぬいぐるみを置き忘れ、、！

私は過保護の親に育てられたためか、自分の娘のことも溺愛しています。（⇒たまにキレてるけど！）そのため、小学校に上がるため、荷物はほとんど持たせませんでした。（⇒ダメ親の典型だね！）

I also love my daughter, probably because I was raised by an overprotective parent. (⇒Sometimes it’s sharp!) Therefore, I went to elementary school, so I didn’t carry much luggage. (⇒ Typical of bad parents!)

そして今回、珍しく上野公園で買ったお気に入りのパンダのぬいぐるみを「たまには自分で持ってよね！」と持たせたのです。すると、見事に彼女はバスの中にパンダさんを置いてきてしまいました；（お風呂から出てから気づいた；）

And this time, I gave him a rare panda stuffed animal that I bought at Ueno Park, saying, “Occasionally, you should bring it yourself!”
Then she brilliantly left Panda in the bus; (I noticed after taking a bath;)

七福の湯は子連れにも最高！～料金とコロナについて

子供とのおでかけでスーパー銭湯は良いと思います♪広いから子供は開放感があるし、見るものが沢山あるし、ご飯も食べれるし♡

I think the super public bath is good for going out with children ♪ Because it is large, children have a feeling of openness, there are many things to see, and you can eat rice ♡

ただ、着替えや勝手にバ~っとどこかに走って行かれるのだけが大変なんですが；回数こなしたら、慣れてきました。

However, it’s difficult to change clothes and run somewhere without permission; after doing it many times, I’m getting used to it.

①料金

① Fee

料金は温泉とチムジルバンスパ（韓国の温泉と岩盤浴の融合）の２種類があります。

There are two types of charges: hot springs and Chimjilbang Spa (a fusion of Korean hot springs and bedrock baths).

料金は他のチェーン店「大江戸温泉物語」の料金と比べたら1/3くらいです。て言うか、大人は銭湯より１００円くらいしか変わりません。これはコスパ高いな。ただし、現金のみとなっています。

The price is about 1/3 of the price of other chain stores “Ooedo Onsen Monogatari”. I mean, adults are only about 100 yen different from public baths. This is expensive.However, it is cash only.

②コロナだけど何が違う？

営業時間は変わらず、事前予約も必要ありません。大きな違いは入館前の検温と手指の消毒、そして、湯舟でのソーシャルディスタンスの確保です。（⇒ソーシャルディスタンスは割と普段からできている気がします）

Business hours do not change and no advance reservations are required. The major differences are temperature measurement before admission, disinfection of hands, and ensuring social distance in the bathtub.
(⇒ I feel that social distance is relatively common)

館内は定期的に消毒され、バスマットなどの備品交換のために協力することもあるようです。

「お姉さん、子供の髪が湯舟に入ってるよ」と注意されました

さあ、早速おふろに入りましょう。高齢出産で在宅ワーカーなので、常に肩こりがヒドイです。

Let’s get into the bath right away. As I am an elderly childbirth and a home worker, I always have stiff shoulders.

(温泉その１）天然温泉風呂（外湯）

七福の湯の外の露店風呂には、なんと大型テレビがついていました。これは結構衝撃でした。

The stall bath outside Shichifuku-no-Yu had a large TV. This was quite a shock.

また、はっちゃんが気に入っていましたが露店風呂の脇には裸で寝そべられる椅子が置いてありました。（座りましたが私は普通に寒かったです；）

Also, although I liked Hatchan, there was a chair on the side of the stall bath where I could lie down naked. (I sat down but I was usually cold;)

しばらく経つと、おばさんグループの一人が私に「お嬢さんの髪の毛、湯舟に入っちゃってるよ」と言ってきました。私は最初、意味がわかりませんでしたが、（あ、そうか！結ぶよね）と思い、ありがとうございますと伝えました。

After a while, one of the auntie group told me, “Your daughter’s hair is in the bathtub.” At first I didn’t understand the meaning, but I thought (Oh yeah! I’ll tie it) and said thank you.

自分はいつもショートだから、全然気づかなかった～。言ってくれてよかったです。

I’m always short, so I didn’t notice it at all. I’m glad you told me.

(温泉その２）壺湯（外湯）

(Hot spring part 2) Tsubo-yu (outdoor hot spring)

もう一つ気に入ったお風呂は壺湯です。完全貸切の丸いお風呂♡しかし、これは好きな女性が多いため、すぐに中に入られてしまいます。

Another bath I like is Tsubo-yu. A completely reserved round bath ♡ However, there are many women who like this, so you can easily get inside.

「ママ～！あのお風呂に入りたいよ～！」とか言ってせがむはっちゃん；私は「ダメよ。まだあの大人の人が入ってるでしょ、、！」とか大声で言う、イヤなヤツですｗ

“Mama ~! I want to take that bath ~!” And I’m sorry to say “No. There’s still that adult person in there …!”

（温泉その３）炭酸風呂

他には、炭酸風呂にも入りました。炭酸風呂は適度に血流を流し、血行促進に効果的だそうです。はっちゃんも「プチプチする～」と不思議そうで、キャッキャとはしゃいでおりました。

Besides, I also took a carbonated bath. The carbonated bath has a moderate blood flow and is effective in promoting blood circulation. Hatchan also seemed to be wondering, “Bubble wrap”, and he was chatting with him.

ちなみに、そんなに小うるさい小姑のようなお客さんはいなかったので、よほどヘンなことをしない限りは子連れで十分楽しめると思います。

By the way, there wasn’t a customer like a noisy little mother-in-law, so unless you do something weird, I think you can enjoy it with your children.

最後に、バスの中に置き忘れたパンダさんは国際興行バスのコールセンターに電話すると、「そちらのバスはまだ巡回中です。○時○分にまた近くを通るので、できたらご乗車ください」と、まるでバラエティ番組のようなことを言われました。

Finally, Mr. Panda, who left behind in the bus, called the call center of the international entertainment bus and said, “That bus is still patrolling. It will pass nearby again at XX hours, so please board if possible.” I was told something like a variety show.

言われてから３分後。バタバタしながらバスに乗ると、前に座っていた席にパンダはいませんでした。そこで、運転手さんに「あの～、行きに乗った時にパンダのぬいぐるみを忘れたのですが、、」と言うと、「これですか？」と運転手さんがパンダを渡してくれました。日本のバス、すごい！

3 minutes after being told. When I got on the bus while fluttering, there was no panda in the seat I was sitting in front of. Then, when I said to the driver, “Oh, I forgot the panda’s stuffed animal when I got on the way,” he said, “Is this this?” And the driver handed me the panda. Japanese buses are amazing!
