三菱一号館美術館は各線・東京駅と各線・有楽町駅のちょうど中間地点らへんに位置します。両駅からとも、徒歩３分強です。2010年に開館したので、今年で１1年目。レンガ造りがアカデミックな雰囲気で、すぐ向かいには洒落たカフェやバーが入る「丸の内ブリックスクエア」があります。

Access to the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum is easy. From Tokyo Station, exit the Marunouchi South Exit ticket gate, go diagonally to the left, and cross the pedestrian crossing to KITTE. (It’s a big building with a clock.)
三菱一号館美術館へのアクセスは簡単です。東京駅からは丸の内南口改札を出て、左斜めに進み、横断歩道を渡ってKITTEまで進んでください。（時計がついてる大きな建物です。）
横断歩道を渡ったら、右手に進みます。アップル（iPhoneの会社）の目の前に来たら、左折します。しばらく進んだら、レンガの建物が右手に見えてきますが、それが三菱一号館美術館です。

子育て世代には嬉しいと思うのですが、三菱一号館美術館の入場料は、小学生と中学生までが無料です。これは結構太っ腹だと思います。たいてい小学生までとか、割引のことが多かったので。大人のチケット代は、当日券で1900円、高校・大学生で1000円します。美術館には気軽にサクっと行きたいので、子供が無料だと大人が約2,000円かかるとしても、（二人で2,000円かあ。ま、いっか）と気軽に行けてしまいます。（⇒心理的に3,000円かかると結構考えちゃう、、！）

まず、電話で問合せしたのですが三菱一号館美術館の入場チケットは、日時指定予約が必須ではありません。日付指定は公式ページ（Webketというシステム）から可能ですが、日付指定予約をすると１名につき200円の料金が発生します。（３名なら×３で600円）

でも、ぶっちゃけ三菱一号館美術館てそんなに混むかな？並ぶとしても、せいぜい20分くらいじゃないの？と思ったんですね。電話口のお姉さんには、「おっしゃるとおり、過去の展覧会では最大で40分程度の待ち時間が発生しました」と伺いました。最大で40分なら別に待てるぜ！ということで、日付指定予約はしませんでした。

三菱一号館美術館ですが、結論から言うとまあまあ混んでいました。並ぶのが好きではない方は、200円払ってWebketから予約した方が無難と言えます。（⇒特に真冬や真夏はきつい）これは人気の展示なのかにもよるところが多いと思いますが、今回の印象派・光の系譜展では２階と３階に分かれて「都市の情景」や「人と自然のいる風景」などの章で全６つの部屋に分かれて展示されていました。
