こんにちは。少し寒くなりましたね。私は先日、東京ミッドタウン日比谷にある東宝シネマズ日比谷で、映画「窓ぎわのトットちゃん」を見てきました。めっちゃくちゃ良かったです！良いところが沢山ありすぎて、一言では言い表せないのですが、とにかく良い作品です。
Hello. It’s gotten a little cold, isn’t it? The other day, I went to see the movie “Totto-chan at the Window” at Toho Cinemas Hibiya in Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. It was really good!
そんなわけで、本日の「東京の小学生とおでかけ！」のテーマは映画窓ぎわのトットちゃんの感想＆評価です。
映画窓ぎわのトットちゃんは７歳くらいからがオススメ
The movie Totto-chan at the Window is recommended for children around 7 years old.
映画窓ぎわのトットちゃんは、お子さんが見るとしたら、７歳くらいからがいいのではないでしょうか。理由は、上映時間が２時間あり、ドラえもんなどよりは少し長いこと。そして、小学生になっていたらトモエ学園などの学園生活のシーンがよりわかりやすいと思ったからです。
If your child is going to watch Totto-chan at the Movie Window, I think it would be best for them to watch it from around 7 years old. The reason is that the running time is two hours, which is a little longer than Doraemon. I also thought that if I were an elementary school student, the scenes of school life at Tomoe Academy would be easier to understand.
実際、私が映画館で映画を見た日は、多くの高齢者、カップル、家族連れがいましたが、小学生低学年らしき子供さんがいました。高校生くらいの女の子も家族で来ていました。高齢者ばっかり？かと思いきや、意外にトットちゃんの原作パワーを思い知らされましたね。黒柳さん、恐るべし。
文句なしの名作！映画「窓ぎわのトットちゃん」

映画「窓ぎわのトットちゃん」は文句なしの名作でした。わたしの母が原作を大好きだったし、私も読んで面白かった印象があったので観ましたが、映画館で観て良かったです♡ジブリでもなく、クレヨンしんちゃんでもない。全く新しいジャンルの名作が生まれた瞬間に立ち会った気がしました。
正直、映画化するのが遅すぎない？と思いましたが。この映画を見たあとは、ガザやウクライナ侵攻などで世界情勢が揺れている今のタイミングがベストなのかも♪と思いました。
The movie “Totto-chan at the Window” was an undisputed masterpiece. My mother loved the original, and I read it and thought it was interesting, so I watched it, and I’m glad I saw it in theaters ♡ Honestly, isn’t it too late to make it into a movie? I thought so. After watching this movie, I thought that now might be the best time to watch it, as the world situation is in turmoil due to the invasion of Gaza and Ukraine.
最初、わたしは映画窓ぎわのトットちゃんの絵柄が少し目が大きくて、そんなに気に入ってはいなかったです。でも、映画を見終わったあと、全体的に優しい雰囲気の絵柄がストーリーにぴったりで、悲しい戦争の場面がメイクっぽい絵柄のおかげで悲惨にはならなくて良かったとすら思いました。（鑑賞後は、メイクっぽい絵柄は黒柳さんの希望なのかもなあ、と考えも変わりました。）

私の子供は小学生中学年ですが、どこが良かった？と聞いたら「電車の学校、小林先生」と言っていました。子供目線だと（こんな自由な学校に行ってみたい）と思うんでしょうねえ。私の８０代の母は「懐かしかった」という感想でした。
ツイッターの中の評価はかなり良かった

この作品を見る前日に、小学生中学年のこどもが見て楽しいかな？と一瞬思ったので、ツイッターをチェックしました。すると、ツイッターの中には３％くらい批判めいた感想もありましたが、ほとんどは「すごい映画！」と絶賛している内容でした。

ツイッターって窓ぎわのトットちゃんをリアルタイムで読んだ世代はあまりいない気がします。でも、若い人も窓ぎわのトットちゃんを初日とかに見て「良かった」とかツイッターにあげてるわけです。この映画に感動した者としては、とても嬉しかったですね。やはり、この原作の破壊力はすごいな。
I don’t think there are many people of the generation who read Totto-chan in real time on Twitter. However, young people also see Totto-chan next to the window on their first day of school and post comments on Twitter about how good it was.
トットちゃんと泰明ちゃんの交流が眩しく切なすぎる
The interaction between Totto-chan and Yasuaki-chan is dazzling and heartbreaking.
この映画が成功した最大の要因は、トットちゃんとそのクラスメイト・泰明ちゃんの交流をメインに持ってきたからではないでしょうか。黒柳さんのYouTubeを拝見しましたが、書籍・窓ぎわのトットちゃんは1981年に刊行されてから、「国内で黒澤明以外のほぼ全ての監督からオファーされた」ほど、映画化の話を持ちかけられたそうです。でも、黒柳さんは「特に大きな盛り上がりがない話だから」と、すべて断ったそうです。

今回、映画窓ぎわのトットちゃんを手掛けた監督は、ドラえもんの映画などでおなじみの八鍬監督です。八鍬監督は原作・窓ぎわのトットちゃんを再構成し、泰明ちゃんとトットちゃんの友情を主軸に置くことで、この映画に友情や切なくなる小学生時代を鮮やかに描くことに成功したと思います。
私は特に、泰明ちゃんトットちゃんが木登りするシーンは、一生忘れられません。今ってタイパとか言って時間を大切にしているようで、無駄にスマホを見ている矛盾を感じます。でも、トットちゃんと泰明ちゃんたちの時間は、走ったり、木登りしたりしながら、人生でとてつもなく大切な何かを得たのだと思いました。

Nowadays, people seem to be valuing their time by saying things like “Taipa”, but I feel it’s a contradiction to be wasting time looking at my smartphone. トットちゃんを受け入れた小林先生が素敵すぎる

好奇心旺盛すぎて小学校を退学になったトットちゃんは、世田谷区トモエ学園に受け入れられます。このトモエ学園の校長先生「小林先生」が素敵すぎて、私も他の方もココロを動かされました。どなたかがツイッターで書いていたのですが、「日本全国の学校に小林先生を配置したら、いじめ問題、不登校問題は即解決なのでは」。ホント、私もそう思います。

小林先生って、子供が居心地よいと思える先生なんです。だけれども、全部こどもの言いなりになっているわけではないんです。叱らない育児とかではなく、注意するべきところは注意している。なので、なんていうか、子供を意味不明な型にはめず、子供の好奇心をつぶさない教育なんだな、と思いました。こんな大人になりたいですが、わたしは１ミリも小林先生にはなれていません；（うっうっ）また、声優が役所広司さんで、雰囲気ぴったりなんすよね。
Mr. Kobayashi is a teacher who makes children feel comfortable. However, not everything is at the child’s mercy. It’s not about raising children without scolding them, but rather paying attention to the things that need attention. So, I thought that it was an education that didn’t force children into meaningless molds and didn’t crush their curiosity.
映像が気合入りすぎて凄い

この映画、原作のストーリーがいいのはもちろんですが、映像がかなり気合が入っています。映画窓ぎわのトットちゃんには、なんと12万枚もの原画が使用されているそうです。製作期間は７年間。八鍬監督は絵コンテを書かない監督だそうですが、今回、窓ぎわのトットちゃんでは自ら絵コンテを手掛け、トットちゃんの空想のシーンなど、夢のような温かい名シーンをいくつも生み出しました。（もう一回見たくなってきました）

天真爛漫なトットちゃんのキャラクターが良い

トットちゃんこと黒柳徹子さんは、その歯に衣着せぬキャラクターでお茶の間で大人気です。黒柳さんは幼少時から、80歳を越えた今も、同じキャラクター。それってすごいことです！
みんな生まれたときは自由奔放なはずですが、いつしか社会の型にはめられ、思い通りに生きられずにモヤモヤしだします。そのせいか、映画野中のトットちゃんの行動やセリフは、今の時代の閉塞感をスカッと打ち破ってくれるので、見ていてワクワクするのです。
「その足、どうしたの？」（小児まひの男の子・泰明ちゃんに向かって）
「この切符、ちょうだい！」（駅で切符を着る駅員さんに向かって）
「わたし、トットちゃんよ！」（トモエ学園の校長先生・小林先生に向かって初対面で）
トットちゃんは日本人特有の「空気を読む」ことをしないので、小学校を退学させられてしまいます。でも、映画をみるとトットちゃんが思いやりのある子供で、さまざまなことを感じていたことが分かります。いま、不登校や発達障害が急激に増えていますが、どうしてこんなに増えたのか、この映画を見るとなんとなく答えがわかるような気がします。
