東都生協のセンターまつりで草野工務店の木工教室の存在を知りました♡

I learned about the existence of a woodworking class at Kusano Engineering Co., Ltd. at the Center Festival at the Toto Co-op ♡

草野工務店は東都生協・城西センターの近くにある工務店です。普通の一般企業なのですが、東都生協と長いお付き合いがあり、毎年夏に行われる「センターまつり」では木工教室を開いてくれます。それが、非常に大人気なんです。

まず、いま家でお父さんが子供に大工を教えるのってなかなかないじゃないですか。木工教室では東都生協城西センターの端を使い、木材や金づちなどをすべて用意してくださるため、参加者は手ぶらで気軽に参加できます。

Kusano Engineering Co., Ltd. is a contractor located near the East Metropolitan Co-op/Josai Center. Although it is an ordinary general company, we have a long relationship with the Toto Co-op and open a woodworking class at the “Center Festival” held every summer. That’s very popular.

First of all, it’s not easy for a father to teach a carpenter to his child at home. At the woodworking class, we will use the edge of the Tozai Co-op Josai Center and prepare all the wood and hammers, so participants can feel free to join.

毎年、東都生協のセンターまつりは１０月頃に城西センター（東京都板橋区坂下１丁目３３−８）で行われていました。（いまはコロナでお休みです）木工教室の存在は、はっちゃんが１歳の頃から知っていました。４歳になったので、「もうそろそろいいかな～」と思い、「やってみる？」と聞くと、「うん！」とやる気満々でした♡

ちなみに、ワタクシさっきから東都生協の話ばかりしてますが、草野工務店さんでは毎年夏に別で木工教室（確か５００円くらい）をやってらっしゃり、７月くらいに公式ホームページにお知らせが載るそうです。（しかし、それもコロナで定かではなくなりました）

The Toto Co-op Center Festival was held every year around October at the Josai Center (1-33-8 Sakashita, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo). (I’m currently absent from corona) I knew the existence of a woodworking class from the age of 1 when Hatchan was one year old. I was four years old, so I thought, “I think it’s about time”, and when I asked, “I’ll try it,” I was motivated to say “Yes!”

By the way, I’ve been talking about the Tokyo Metropolitan Co-op since I was a little while ago, but Kusano Kogyo-san does a woodworking class every summer (about 500 yen). It seems that news will be posted on the official website about July. (But that is no longer in Corona.)

私の親は普通のサラリーマンでしたので、職人さんには縁遠い生活を送っていました。しかし、昔大学生の時に渋谷のクラブ「ルーム」に行くと、一緒に話した人が「お姉さん。これからの世の中は１に手に職、２に甘い時間。３，４がなくて、５に手に職だよ」と、いかに手に職が大切なのかを説いてくれたのです。

この世知辛い世の中。確かに手に職は本当に大切です。はっちゃんも、もしかして手に職でエンジニアを目指すといいかもね？！

２０１９年夏、気になる東都生協以外の木工教室を電話予約してみました

In the summer of 2019, I made a phone reservation for a woodworking class other than the concerned Toto Co-op.

木工教室であまりにはっちゃんは良い顔していたので、私はその後、夏に開かれるという木工教室の情報をフォローしていました。情報が公式ホームページで出たのは７月３０日頃と夏休みに既に入った頃くらいだったと思います。

電話で予約すると、親切な女性の方が窓口に出て対応してくれました。しかし、前日に体調が悪くなり、あえなく辞退；

コロナが落ち着いたら、またぜひ木工教室に遊びに行きたいな～！と思う私です。
