私は小学生の子どもと東京に住んでいます。先週、大井競馬場の「東京メガイルミ」に行ったばかりなので、今日（１１／３）は電車に乗りたくない気分でした。
（そうだ、篠原演芸場なら気軽に行ける！）と思い立ちました。古き良き文化を子供に見せるのも、なんだか教育上よさそうな気がします。そんなわけで、本日の「東京の小学生とおでかけ！」のテーマは、北区十条の篠原演芸場です。
篠原演芸場へのアクセスは２通りある
There are two ways to access Shinohara Engeijo
①JR十条駅から行く方法
How to get from JR Jujo Station
篠原演芸場の最寄り駅は２つあります。１つ目はJR埼京線・十条駅です。十条駅は出口が２つありますが、北改札の方を出てまっすぐ歩くと十条の商店街につき進みます。商店街の１つめの角（左手に越後屋というお蕎麦屋さん）が見えてきたら、右折します。しばらく歩くと、左手に↑の派手な篠原劇場が見えてきます。徒歩３分です。
There are two stations closest to Shinohara Engeijo. The first is Jujo Station on the JR Saikyo Line. There are two exits at Jujo Station, but if you go out the north ticket gate and walk straight, you will reach the Jujo shopping district. At the first corner of the shopping street (when you see a soba shop called Echigoya on your left, turn right. After walking for a while, you will see the Shinohara Theater on your left.
②JR東十条駅から行く方法
How to get from JR Higashi Jujo Station
東十条駅には南改札口（赤羽寄り）と北回札口（上野寄り）の２つの改札口があります。わたしたちは南口まで自転車で行き、駐輪場に自転車を停め、南口も階段を上っていきました。ここの道路の左手に、「のぶた」という美味しいヤキトン屋さんがあるんですよね～！（→昔、よく行った）それで、突き当りのセブンイレブンで左折し、まっすぐ歩き、郵便局の前で右折すると篠原演芸場が右手に見えてきます。

We cycled to the south exit, parked at the bicycle parking lot, and went up the stairs at the south exit. There is a delicious Yakiton shop called “Nobuta” on the left side of the road here! ちなみに、私たちは駐輪場に停めたいので南口から行きましたが、左折後の道路は道が狭くて車がビュンビュン通るので、北口からいくことをオススメします。（なんやねん！）
東十条駅の北口のがわかりやすいかもなあ。北口を出たら右に曲がり、ひたすらまっすぐです。（坂です）ケーキ屋をすぎ、郵便局が見えたら、横断歩道をわたり、まっすぐ歩きます。

篠原演芸場に行く当日、一応、劇場に電話してみました。電話番号は、０３－３９０８－１８７４で、１１時～17時です。（2021年11月現在）

そうだったのか～。ちなみに、電話で席予約もできるそうです。座席はこんな感じで、ほぼ座布団席です。

料金はコスパ高い！遅刻・早退（？）もOKです

篠原演芸場の料金ですが、大人：1800円（前売り：1,700円）、子供：1,000円です。現金払いのみ。正面向かって左の受付で支払います。映画館行くのと同じくらいのお値段です♡

そういえば、私たちは遅刻していきましたがOKでした。（電話で確認も取りました）遅刻の場合、正面にある黒い扉（しまってる）を開けて、階段で下におりて、右側の売店の方に「すいませーん。今から見たいです」と言えばOKです。遅刻割引で、400円安くしてくれました。

篠原演芸場の昼の部は11:30会場、15時半終焉でした。（2021年11月現在）篠原演芸場のシステムは、昼の部と夜の部があり、昼の部は4時間、夜の部は17時半開演で21時までだそうです。結構長いよね。これで、この料金は安いよね、、、！

入場料以外に席料が必要です。

篠原演芸場でたっぷり３時間半、踊りや歌を堪能すれば、大人：1,800円なんて安い安い。いまどき、1,800円じゃ１～２時間しか遊べません。（⇒すごい大ざっぱな解説、、）ところがどっこい。篠原演芸場では入場料の他に「席料」というものがありました。
通常の座布団席の場合はひとり200円くらい、壁沿いのパイプ席の場合はひとり300円取られます。まあ、大した値段ではありません。現金がないとダメなので、ここに遊びに来るときは千円や100円玉をたくさん持っていた方がよいかもです。

ネットでは、篠原演芸場のことを検索すると必ず「おにぎり」のことが出てきます。今回は私、食べなかったんですよ。家で食べてきちゃって。次回、食べてみます。おにぎりの他にもお菓子やスナックもあるので、長時間の鑑賞のおともに良いですね♡ こういうのって、本当に貴重です。チェーン店ばかりじゃ味気ないので、私はこんな新宿のガード下で呑む、みたいな雰囲気が大好きです♡（もう火事で横丁はなくなっちゃったけど）

ちなみに、東京でおにぎりといえば「おにぎりぼんご」です。超人気店で、私なんてぼんごの近くのホテルに泊まっても食べれなかったんですから。

さて、実際に小学生と篠原演芸場に行ってみたんですが、うちのこは１時間もった、という結果でした。ミュージカルのようにストーリーがないので、2時間は少々きついかもです。しかし、途中で「２階に見たい！」と場内を探検したり（演目の間に）、売店の金魚さんを見たり、ステージの女性のかわいらしいダンスに魅了されたりと、７歳なりにとても楽しんでいました。

篠原演芸場の中には、「芝居茶屋」という喫茶＋軽食がいただけるお店があります。そのほかに、正面向かって右側に進むと（東十条方面に）右手にカフェ（喫茶店）があります。カフェスペース101というお店です。
