[Toshima-ku] About playground equipment, access and toilets in Komagome Park

駒込には公園の頂点（？！）に立つ「六義園」（都立庭園）もありますが、こどもが遊ぶにはこの駒込公園♡

Komagome also has “Rikugien” (a metropolitan garden) that stands at the top of the park (?!), But this Komagome Park is for children to play ♡

JR駒込駅から近く、春には桜が咲き、トイレもあり、子供が30分は遊べる遊具もちゃんとあります。

It is close to JR Komagome Station, cherry blossoms bloom in spring, there is a toilet, and there are playground equipment that children can play for 30 minutes.

今回の「東京の小学生とおでかけ！」のテーマは、北区駒込にある駒込公園です。

駒込公園の遊具は何がある？

What are the playground equipment in Komagome Park?

駒込公園は駒込駅から最も近い普通の公園です。（駒込駅付近にはこの他にも公園がたくさんあります。）公園の半分は遊具が集まっており、あと半分はキャッチボールができそうな小さめのグラウンドとなっています。

Komagome Park is an ordinary park closest to Komagome Station. (There are many other parks near Komagome Station.) Half of the park is full of playground equipment, and the other half is a small ground where you can play catch.

①赤い階段付きのマウンテン

まず一つ目の遊具はコレ。私は勝手に「赤だこマウンテン」と呼んでいますが；そんなに高さがないので、１～２歳のお子様でも十分楽しく遊べます。

The first playground equipment is this. I call it “Akadako Mountain”; it’s not that tall, so even children aged 1-2 can enjoy it.

②ぴょんぴょんキノコ

ハイ、お次はこの黒いデカきのこのような、公園によくある遊具ですね。これ、楽しいですよねw　疲れてなかったら、私もこれでよく遊びます！

③赤い旗がついている複合遊具

カラフルで冒険気分を味わえる遊具です。ボルダリング（壁に登る用の石がついている）、橋、滑り台が合体している楽しい遊具です。

It is a colorful and adventurous playground equipment. A fun playground equipment that combines bouldering (with stones for climbing walls), bridges and slides.

④石の大きなクリーム色の滑り台

あとは、①～③の遊具の近くに石でできたクリーム色の大きな滑り台もあります。手すりもついているので、２歳くらいの小さな子供でも楽しめると思います。

There is also a large cream-colored slide made of stone near the playground equipment (1) to (3). It also has a handrail, so even a small child about 2 years old can enjoy it.

駒込公園の基本情報

Basic information on Komagome Park

駒込公園のすぐ近くには、「染井吉野桜記念公園」というのがありますが、個人的にはこれは公園じゃなくて遊歩道じゃん！と思います。

駒込公園の中には道路沿いにトイレが設置されています。普通にきれいなトイレです。なので、緊急でトイレを探しているときにも助かりますね～。

Toilets are installed along the road in Komagome Park. It is a normally clean toilet. So it’s also helpful when you’re looking for a toilet in an emergency.

駒込のアザレア通りの英会話教室に１年通ってました

She attended an English conversation class on Azalea Street in Komagome for a year.

余談ですが、はっちゃんは４歳半から1年間、駒込の英語教室（スージーの英語教室）に通ってました。とても良い教室でしたが、電車に乗って通うのがキツくなり、オンライン英会話に切り替えたのでした。

駒込公園のすぐ近くには区民ひろばもあります

There is also a ward inhabitant open space near Komagome Park

駒込公園からほんとぅ～に！すぐ近くに区民ひろばがあります。高齢者の方のいこいの場（カラオケとかできる）と児童館がドッキングした施設で、豊島区民でなくても利用は可能です。

Really from Komagome Park! There is a ward inhabitant open space in the immediate vicinity. It is a facility that is docked with a place for the elderly (such as karaoke) and a children’s house, and can be used by non-Toshima residents.
