ご存知、日本トップの自動車メーカーであるトヨタプレゼンツのショールーム兼レジャー施設です。車好きのお父さんと息子、という組み合わせや、お台場の周遊でここに来た方などは多いのではないでしょうか。
As you know, it is a showroom and leisure facility for Toyota Presents, Japan’s top car company. I think there are a lot of people who come here because of the combination of a car lover’s father and son, or around Odaiba.
MegaWebではWebから予約すればトヨタの最新機種などの試乗が可能です。また、私みたいなペーパードライバーの方向けの覚えなおしレッスンを単発３００円で提供しています。（予約取るのはかなりの難関です）
MegaWeb makes it possible to test drive Toyota’s latest models by making a reservation from the Web. In addition, we offer re-learning lessons for paper drivers like me like 300 yen each. (It is quite difficult to make a reservation.)

メガウェブは1999年3月より開業したトヨタ自動車の展示ショールームです。（⇒2021年1月23日、オンラインで20周年イベントをやるそうです！！）当時も今も、これほどの規模の自動車企業のショール―ムは非常に珍しいです。もう少し規模であれば、都内には以下のような自動車ショールームが存在します。

メガウェブの３つの主なゾーン
Three main zone of Megaweb
Megaweb has three zones.
メガウェブには主に３つのゾーンがあります。まずは真ん中にトヨタショーケースとしてトヨタ自動車の最新モデルやモータースポーツ用の車（TOYOTA GAZOO Racing）の活動などが展示されています。
There are three main zones in Megaweb. First of all, the latest model of Toyota Motor Corporation and the activities of the motor sports car (TOYOTA GAZOO Racing) are exhibited as a Toyota showcase in the center.
２つ目はヒストリーガレージです。こちらではトヨタだけではなく世界の歴史的な車を展示しており、車の歴史を知ることができます。名車の修復作業も見ることができ、中にはカフェやミニカーショップも。お子様とゆったり過ごすことができます。
The second is the history garage. Here you can see the history of cars, not only Toyota but also the world’s historical cars. You can also see the restoration work of famous cars, including cafes and minicar shops. You can spend a relaxing time with your children.
３つ目が「ライドスタジオ」です。一番人気の試乗コーナーで、小学生以上であれば試乗が可能です。私も一度試乗しましたが、免許持ってるのに(⇒でもペーパー！）ゲームオーバーみたいな感じになり、家族の前で大恥かきましたｗ
The third is “Ride Studio”. This is the most popular test drive corner, and you can test drive if you are an elementary school student or older. I also tried the test drive once, but even though I had a license (⇒ but paper!), It felt like the game was over, and I was very embarrassed in front of my family.
コロナ前の土日は家族連れやカップルで大人気でした

コロナ禍ではメガウェブに行っていませんが、コロナの前はメガウェブの目の前にあるアネビートリムパークに行ってからメガウェブに行く、というお散歩コースでした。
I didn’t go to Megaweb in Corona, but in front of Corona it was a walking course where I went to Anebytrim Park in front of Megaweb and then to Megaweb.
ショールームにある自動車はほぼ誰かに座られているという盛況ぶり。スカスカ感はまるでなく、開業から年月が経っているのにレクサスドライバーとの交流イベントなどには多くの人が詰めかけます。
The car in the showroom was so successful that almost anyone was sitting there. There is no sense of sickness, and even though it has been many years since the opening of the business, many people are rushing to exchange events with Lexus drivers.
For going out with children, Aneby Trim Park is also highly recommended!

メガウェブで展示を見るだけであれば、予約は特に必要ありません。しかし、車の試乗をしたいのであれば以下の予約サイトで予約をする必要があります。
If you just want to see the exhibition on Megaweb, you don’t need to make a reservation. However, if you want to test drive a car, you need to make a reservation at the following reservation site.

幼児さんであれば上記のプチ ライドワンのみの一択です。小学生以上であれば「ピウス」という電気自動車に乗れます。ただし、初回は必ず初心者講習（300円）を受ける必要があります。ピウスに乗り、走行体験を何度も行うことにより、もらった免許証のランクがグレードアップします♡
If you are an infant, you can only choose the above Petit Ride One. If you are an elementary school student or older, you can ride an electric car called “Pius”. However, you must take a beginner’s class (300 yen) for the first time. By riding the Pius and having many driving experiences, the rank of the license you received will be upgraded ♡

ライドワンのペーパー講習の予約はかなり人気で激戦

On this day, there was such a water play equipment in front of the Mega Web.
私はペーパードライバーなのすが、いつか車を買って子供の送迎をしたいと思っています♡なので、１回３００円でプロの方から講習を受けられる「脱！ペーパードライバー講習」は夢のような企画です。しかし、土日はほぼ毎回予約が取れず、、！平日の16時とか変な時間にしか予約ができたためしがありません。
I’m a paper driver, but I’d like to buy a car someday to pick up and drop off my children ♡ So, “Don’t! It is a project. However, I couldn’t make a reservation almost every Saturday and Sunday! I’ve only been able to make reservations at 16:00 on weekdays or at strange times.
ショック！MegaWebは2022年でパレットタウンごとなくなるらしい、、。

メガウェブはお台場のヴィーナスフォートなどの施設群「パレットタウン」の中にありますが、wiki情報では2022年中にパレットタウンごと閉鎖し複合施設として再開発されるらしいです。さみしいですね。早くコロナが収まって、子供とトヨタ自動車に乗りたいな～と願う４４歳です！！
その後、2022年度中に周辺施設をはじめとし、MEGAWEBを含めたパレットタウン全体を閉鎖する方向で動いていることが分かり、2025年度にスポーツ観戦が可能なアリーナを併設した複合施設に再開発されることが予定されている
