新型コロナの影響で3年ぶりに復活した東京納涼船♡ 復活記念として、オープニングイベントではWEB予約500円引きという割引がありました。東京納涼船、ナンパ目的や女子大生御用達なのは知ってますが、私だって子供に大きな船を夏休み記念で見せてあげたい！と思っちゃいました★

そんなわけで、今回の「東京の小学生とおでかけ！」のテーマは、子供と東京納涼船へ参戦です。

東京納涼船とは？
What is Tokyo Bay Night Cruise?
東京納涼船は、東海汽船の大型客船「さるびあ丸」で竹芝桟橋からレインボーブリッジ、羽田空港、東京ゲートブリッジまでを一周する期間限定のイベントです。期間はだいたい7月～9月初旬まで。期間中は土日だけでなく、平日も毎日乗船できます。
Tokyo Bay Night Cruise is a limited-time event that goes around from Takeshiba Pier to Rainbow Bridge, Haneda Airport, and Tokyo Gate Bridge on Tokai Kisen’s large passenger ship “Salvia Maru”. The period is from July to early September. During the period, you can board not only on Saturdays and Sundays but also on weekdays every day.
私が学生の頃乗ったときは、飲み放題でした。しかし、今回から大幅に料金が変わったみたいですね。以前は2,600円くらいで飲み放題（安！）でしたが、今年（2022年）からは乗船料が大人：1,500円、小学生：500円となっています。（※未就学児は無料）
It seems that the price has changed significantly from this time. Previously, it was all-you-can-drink (cheap!) For around 2,600 yen, but from this year (2022), the boarding fee is 1,500 yen for adults and 500 yen for elementary school students. (* Free for preschoolers)
なお、さるびあ丸には飲食物の持ち込みはできません。船の中でお祭りの屋台みたいな感じのメニューやドリンク、お酒を買うか、または船内のレストランを予約します。私も一瞬、レストラン予約しようかと思いましたが、高くって； ひとり5000円くらいだったので、子供と2名で10,000円です。だったらホテルのレストランがいいな～、と思い、普通に焼きそばを買ってしのぎました。

子連れで東京納涼船はやばくない？

東京納涼船に申し込んだときは、（安いし子供に夏らしい雰囲気を味わってもらえるぞ～♡）と考えてた浅はかなワタシ。しかし、ネット検索すると「東京納涼船 やばい」「東京納涼船 ナンパ」とかのキーワードばかりサジェストに出てくるんですね。あ、失敗したな～！と思いました。チケット捨てる？とも一瞬思いました。
If you search the internet, you will find only keywords such as “Tokyo Bay Night Cruise” and “Tokyo Bay Night Cruise” in the suggestions. Oh, I failed! I thought. Do you want to throw away your ticket? I thought for a moment.
しかし、過去にさかのぼって子連れ東京納涼船ブログを見させていただき、「子供は喜んでました！」と書き込みを見て、（とりあえず席をとって混んでる大人の群れに近づかないようにしよう！）と決意し、行ってみました。そしたら、最初は（あ～、完全にアウェーだ～）と少し凹みましたが、子連れも少しだけいまして、ひとりで来てるおじさんもいまして。女子大生とナンパ男性のためだけのイベントではない、という感じも15％くらいはありましたので、行ってよかったです♪

東京納涼船は子供にとって実際どう？

結論から言うと、うちの小学3年生は東京納涼船をとても楽しんでいました♡ ワタシのほうが、あーでもない、こーでもないと心配してぐるぐる考えて、損したぐらいです；コロナがまた復活してきたから、人数が少なかったのかな？とも思いました。
In conclusion, my third grader enjoyed Tokyo Bay Night Cruise very much ♡ I was worried that it was neither uh nor this, and I lost it;
混んでいるけどイライラするほどではなかった
It was crowded but not frustrating
今回、なんとか子連れで東京納涼船を楽しめたのは、最初に甲板の上の椅子席をゲットできたからではないかと思っています。1時間45分、ずっと立ちっぱなしはキツイっす。かといって、せっかくの夜景を見ずの下の階に居るのもつまらないです。さるびあ丸への乗船は18時40分ごろから始まりました。わたしたちが竹芝桟橋で並びだしたのは18時半くらいです。
I think that the reason why I managed to enjoy Tokyo Bay Night Cruise with my children this time was because I was able to get a chair seat on the deck first. It’s hard to keep standing for 1 hour and 45 minutes. We lined up at Takeshiba Pier around 6:30 pm.
この時間、竹芝客船ターミナルにはたくさんの人がいました。でも、みんな椅子に座ってたりして、乗船の列に並んでいなかったのです。並んでいたのは家族連ればかり。家族連れはやはり椅子を狙っていたのだと思います。子連れの東京納涼船は、椅子が大事だな～と思いました。あ、でもお酒を買うのにはめちゃくちゃ並んでました。ワタシは今回、まさかの東京納涼船なのに飲みませんでした、なんとなく。
ステージのショーがとても楽しかった
I really enjoyed the stage show
東京納涼船は大きな船に乗る楽しみ、酒を飲む楽しみ、夜景を見る楽しみもありますが、ステージも楽しかったです。まず、メインフロアの6階に行くと、日替わりで担当しているDJの方がトークしてるんですね。めっちゃ80年代じゃないっすか？！その横にステージがあり、だいたい20時くらいからショーが始まったと思います。ちょうどまったりしてきた時間に演奏してくださったので、いいタイミングです♪
Tokyo Bay Night Cruise has fun riding a big boat, drinking alcohol, and watching the night view, but I also enjoyed the stage.

この日のゲストはORICAさんという女性シンガーとギタリストの男性でした。（名前忘れた、、）MISIAのカバーを歌ってまして、前の方のお客さんが「ORICA～♡」とか叫んでて、ノリが良かったです。うちの小学生はそれを見てキャッキャ♪と喜んでました。
The guest of the day was a female singer named ORICA and a male guitarist. (I forgot the name …) I was singing the cover of MISIA, and the customer in front shouted “ORICA ~ ♡”, which was good. My elementary school student was delighted to see it.
船の真上に飛行機、カモメ。そして遠くに雷も見えた
An airplane and a seagull right above the ship. And I saw thunder in the distance
20時過ぎ。ステージの歌を聴いていると、右手の奥の空が光りだしました。「ママ！雷！！」と叫ぶはっちゃんw ワタシも長く生きてきて、雷を横目にリアルタイムで見ることがなかったため、とても感動しました。船に乗ってドンチャンしている人間から少し離れた場所では、自然現象。シュールです。

また、さるびあ丸の航路には羽田空港の近くもあるため、急に船の真上を大迫力の飛行機が飛ぶ、という景色も堪能できます。

人ごみが疲れたら3階のリクライングシートで休憩できた
When the crowd got tired, I could take a break on the reclining seat on the 3rd floor.
20時20分ほどになると、子供は「ママ、船の中もっと探検しよう」と言いました。そこで、他のフロアも見てみると、3階にリクライニングシートがあり、フリースペースになってました。助かる～！そこには救命胴衣や毛布、ロッカー、自販機などもあり、至れり尽くせり。（この船、快適だな。大島、こんど行こっかな）という気持ちになりました。東京納涼船をきっかけに、もっと船旅もしてみる。なんてのも、アリですよね。
At about 20:20, the child said, “Mom, let’s explore more in the ship.” So, when I looked at the other floors, there was a reclining seat on the 3rd floor, which became a free space. It will be saved!
東海汽船のスタッフさんのオペレーションがめちゃくちゃ手際よい
The operation of Tokai Kisen staff is insanely smart
子供が、酔っぱらいの大人たち、ナンパ師だらけの船にドン引きして船酔いしたらどうしよう。そんな風に思って1時間45分を長く感じるかも、と深読みしていましたが。実際には船の中を探検したり、ステージを見たり、ご飯を食べたりしているうちに、あっという間に下船時間となりました。わたしはリクライニングシートでごーごと寝てしまい、東海汽船の方に起こしてもらう、という恥ずかしいやつでした；
What if a child gets seasick by pulling a boat full of drunk adults and pick-up teachers? I was reading deeply that I might feel that way for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Actually, while exploring the inside of the ship, watching the stage, and eating rice, it was time to get off the ship in no time.
今回浴衣は来ませんでしたが（手で持ってた）、楽しかったです。他の方のブログにもあるように、スタッフの方がテキパキしてて、船の上で男女が酒飲んでるのになぜか乱れた感じはしないんですよね。これは料金を少し変えたからかな？事前予約制のレストラン席を増やしたため、落ち着いて食事したい層からの予約が増えたのかも、と思いました。言うほど、「船の上はヤバイ雰囲気」って感じでもなかったです。また行きたいです！
I didn’t come to Yukata this time (I had it in my hand), but it was fun. As you can see on other people’s blogs, the staff are more enthusiastic, and even though men and women are drinking on the boat, it doesn’t feel disturbed for some reason. Is this because I changed the price a little?
