こんにちは。うちの小学生の子供はマインクラフトにドハマリしていますが、ひとりで黙々と自己流で作成。そのため、英語で学べるマイクライングリッシュの回数券を買ってZOOM講座を勧めたところ、キャッキャと外人先生とマンツーマンでマイクラを楽しむようになり、よりマイクラをディープに楽しんでました♡

しかし、マイクライングリッシュが結構高い（１回45分3,500円くらい）し、私（母親）ばかりが英語話すからあんまり意味ないかも、、と思い、オンラインで他のお友達とマイクラができるサークルを見つけました。今日はそこであったトラブルについてお話します。

マイクラ（マインクラフト）は、今や日本の文部科学省でも「教育版マインクラフトを活用したプログラミング的思考学習の推進」として活用されている、言わずと知れた超・人気ゲームです。うちの子供の場合も、既に幼稚園時代からお兄ちゃんなどを通じてやっている子供もいて、私もSwitch版を購入して、ガイドブックみたいな本も買いました。

As for my child, there are children who have been doing it through older brothers since kindergarten, so I bought the Switch version and also bought a book like a guidebook.
しかし、そのときは子供はあまり興味を示しませんでした。しかしその後、何かのきっかけで子供はYouTubeの「まいぜんシスターズ」を見てマイクラを覚え、マイクラが全然できない私（母）を飛び越え、どんどんマイクラの世界に没頭したのでした。私は、こどもがいつもYouTubeのマイクラ実況を見てとても楽しそうだったので、オンラインでできるマイクラのサークルみたいなのはあるかな？と探し始めました。

ネットの中で子供ができるオンラインマイクラ部はあまりなくて、高校生くらいの内輪がしているものか、プログラミングスクールみたいな企業が主催する月額が高いものしかありませんでした。その中で、キッズウイークエンドという子供のためのオンラインアクティビティ予約サイトで見つけたオンラインマイクラ部は、１回550円で、運営もフリースクールがしているため、安心できそう♡と、早速とびつきました。
There weren’t many online Minecraft clubs on the net where children could have children, and there were only those with a high school student’s inner circle, or those with a high monthly fee sponsored by a company like a programming school. Among them, the online Minecraft club I found on the online activity reservation site for children called Kids Weekend is 550 once, and since it is operated by a free school, I can feel relieved ♡, I immediately jumped.
この1回550円の企画には、我が家を含めて参加したのが５歳くらいの男子とお母さんのみ。その子はSwitchでマイクラをしたがってましたが、「統合版じゃないとダメなんだ、ごめんね」と顔出ししないお兄さんに言われ、ログインにてこづり、開始は40分ほど遅れました。しかし、うちの子は完全に楽しんでました。私は腹の中で（1回550円だけど、開始が40分遅れっておかしくね？）と思ってました。私は心狭いね～！
Only boys and mothers about 5 years old participated in this one-time 550 yen project, including my home. The child wanted to do Minecraft on Switch, but he was told by his older brother who didn’t show up, “I’m sorry if it’s not an integrated version,” and he got stuck at login, and the start was delayed by about 40 minutes. しかし！実際には、さまざまな困難がありました；まず、私は普段パソコンでGoogleアカウントしか使わないため、マイクロソフトアカウントについて詳しくありません。マインクラフトはMicrosftに買収されたゲームのため、オンラインのJava版でやるには、マイクロソフトアカウントでログインしなければいけません。それがまずてこずりました。

次に困ったのは、私（母親）がマイクラの仕組みをよく知らない事です。キッズウイークエンドでは統合版のみと言われましたが、その後、入会金や初月の会費を振り込む際には、「Java版が必要です」と言われました。そして、Amazon で3300円で購入しました。（そのオンラインマイクラ部を運営する企業には「諸々含めて約8,000円です」と言われたので、Java版お持ちじゃない方は入会時に11,000円くらいかかる計算です）でも、週2回で１回90分×４週で、月に８回楽しめて月額2,600円（くらい）だったので、とても安いな～と、魅力に感じました。

しかし、Java版のダウンロードがなかなかできずエラーになり、仕事と家事をしながらの間なので、正直、だんだん面倒になってきました；

私の方はいろいろ面倒でしたが、子供はZOOMや他のアプリ（名前忘れた）を使って顔出しNGのお兄さんお姉さんたちと、マイクラの世界を楽しんでました。ログインしても誰も何も説明しないのも、このオンラインマイクラ部の特徴だそうです。じぶんで主体的に動き、大人が指図しない。これがこのオンラインマイクラ部の良さであり、最大の特徴かなと思いました。「すっごく楽しかった！」と子供に言われ、あ～、いろいろ仕事の合間に設定してよかったよ！と、心底思いました。しかし、、。

そんなある日、運営側から私に突然話したいことがある、と電話がかかってきました。なんでも、私の子がマイクラの世界（ワールド）の中でお店を壊したそうです。「本当ですか？大変申し訳ありません、こどもに事情を聴きます」といって、電話を切りました。こどもに事情を聴くと、突然わっと泣き出し、話はじめました。
One day, I received a phone call from the management side saying that I had something to talk to. I heard that my child broke a shop in the world of Minecraft. I hung up the phone saying, “Is it true? I’m very sorry, I’ll ask the child about the situation.” When I asked the child about the situation, he suddenly burst into tears and started talking.
マイクラの中にはいっても、誰も何も説明してくれないこと。いやなことをする人がいたこと。ぽつんとして孤独だったこと、などです。最初の２回は楽しかったのに、その後の３．４回目で何があったのか。私はごはんを作ったりしてよく見ていませんでしたが、とりあえず退会しました。返金はされませんでした。運営側に聞くと、中にいるこどもたちは中学生～高校生とのこと。うちのこは小３なので、（なんだよ、そんな年齢離れているなら最初から言ってよ～！）とモヤモヤしました。なので、これからオンラインマイクラ探してるお母さんいたら、こんなことありますよ、と伝えたかったです。でわでわ！！
