【新宿区】中央公園のちびっこ広場は工事中だったよ～遊具・コロナ・アクセス・芝生広場について

新宿のヒルトンでご飯を食べるので、ついでに子供と遊べる場所を探しました。新宿って、あんまり子供と遊べる場所ないですね、、！まあ、新宿だからしょうがないけどさ～。

I eat at Hilton in Shinjuku, so I searched for a place to play with my kids. Shinjuku doesn’t have many places to play with children …! Well, it can’t be helped because it’s Shinjuku.

デパート＝無理（つまんない）でしょ、中央公園の遊具ないところ＝（子供は）つまんないでしょつまんないでしょ。歌舞伎町にある忍者の体験のやつ＝歌舞伎町行きたくないでしょｗ

そんな感じで探してたら、やっぱ小学生は遊具のある公園がベストかな、と思い、新宿中央公園の「ちびっこ広場」にはじめて行ってみました。

When I was looking for something like that, I thought that a park with playset was the best, even though I was an elementary school student, so I went to “Chibikko Square” in Shinjuku Central Park for the first time.

新宿中央公園ちびっこ広場までのアクセス

新宿中央公園は、新宿駅西口（小田急や京王がある方）または南口から降りて徒歩10分～15分です。子連れだと結構かかるかな。でも、ベビーカーに乗る子なら大丈夫ですね。南口からのアクセスしやすいです。

Shinjuku Central Park is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the west exit of Shinjuku Station (where Odakyu and Keio are located) or the south exit. I wonder if it will take quite a while with children. But if you’re a child in a stroller, that’s okay. Easy to access from the south exit.

私はヒルトン東京から歩きましたが、最寄りまでのバスもあるそうです。京王デパート前からWEバス：西ルートの西参道行きに乗り、２駅。パークハイアット前で降りるとよいみたい。

ちびっこ広場の場所を確認してみますと、新宿パークタワーや文化服装学園の方に近いんですよね。新宿運転免許更新センターにも近いです。芝生がたくさんある方の公園には、shuknovaというカフェやボルダリングがある施設もあるので、そこでお昼休憩などをしたら、お子さんは半日以上遊べますね♡春は桜もきれいだろうなあ。

If you check the location of Chibikko Square, it’s closer to Shinjuku Park Tower and Bunka Fashion College. It is also close to the Shinjuku Driver’s License Renewal Center. In the park with a lot of lawns, there is a cafe called shuknova and a facility with bouldering, so if you take a lunch break there, your child can play for more than half a day ♡ The cherry blossoms will be beautiful in spring.

新宿のちびっこ広場の本格的工事は’22/4月～10月まで

ちびっこ広場の一部は工事中でした。でも、十分遊べます。逆に、工事がなかったらもっと遊具があるのか！と思います。、、と思ってましたが、ネット上の記事を確認しますと、4月以降、大型すべり台と幼児さん向けの２つの小さなすべり台と小さめのコンビネーション遊具とスライド遊具（幼児向けの、動物型の上に乗ってゆれるやつ）、ブランコが利用できなくなるそうです。

3月以降使えるのは、砂場（くじらさん）と、以下でご紹介するみどりの蛇さんすべり台付きコンビネーション遊具です。（勝手に命名；）工事は2022年10月ごろ終わるそうです。残念だけど、いまの大きな白いすべり台はかなり古さを感じたしね、、。新しいすべり台ができるそうなので、楽しみですね！

新宿中央公園のちびっこ広場は、まあまあ遊具が充実♡

新宿中央公園は、いわずと知れた、西新宿の都庁付近にある、大きい公園です。広さは8.8ヘクタールあり、新宿区の中では４番目に広い公園だそう。（新宿区は明治神宮外苑とか新宿御苑とか、なにげに大きい公園が多いですね）

Shinjuku Central Park is a large park near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Nishi-Shinjuku. With an area of ​​8.8 hectares, it is said to be the fourth largest park in Shinjuku Ward. (Shinjuku Ward has many stupid parks such as Meiji Jingu Gaien and Shinjuku Gyoen.)

（その１）緑いろの蛇さんみたいなすべり台

大きく目を引くのは、このすべり台です。すべり台だけを単体ですべるのもヨシ。または、このすべり台までの橋などの遊具を、ミッション的にクリアしてすべるのもまた楽しいです。

It is this slide that gets a lot of attention. It is also good to slide only the slide alone. Or, it is also fun to clear the playset such as the bridge to this slide in a mission-like manner.

（その２）大きなクジラさんin砂場

真っ白いクジラさんも人気でした♡ベンチにもなるし、この上を渡るのも楽しいし、良いですね。この遊具を見たのははじめてです。ちなみに、クジラさんの横にはカバさんもいて、小さな子なら口の中に入れちゃいます。クジラさんのいる砂場は、もしかして海なのかな？

The white whale was also popular ♡ It’s good because it can be used as a bench and it’s fun to cross over it. This is the first time I’ve seen this playset. By the way, there is a hippo next to the whale, and if you are a small child, you can put it in your mouth.

（その３）ドラムみたいな遊具

私とはっちゃんが地味に楽しんだのは、この遊具です。蛇さんすべり台のコンビネーション遊具の出だしの部分。こういうの、有料の屋内アスレチックにもついてますが、無料のちびっこ広場についているのはいいですね。

It was this playset that I and Hatchan enjoyed soberly. The beginning part of the combination playset of the snake slide. This kind of indoor athletics is also available for a fee, but it’s nice to have a free little child square.

（その４）雲梯

(Part 4) Escalade

蛇さんすべり台には、雲梯や鉄棒もついています♡幼児さん向けの小さめコンビネーション遊具もありますが、やはりこのゾーンは遊具の種類が多いので、一番人気でした。

そのほかには、４月から工事予定の大きな白いすべり台、ブランコ、上に乗ってゆらゆらするスライダー遊具などがあります♡　ちびっこ広場は全部で３つのゾーンに分かれていて、①コンビネーション遊具ゾーン（へびさん）②白いすべり台ゾーン③くじらさん砂場とその仲間たち、って感じです。

In addition, there are a large white slide, a swing, and a slider playset that sways on top, which is scheduled to be constructed from April ♡

わたしはこの公園で高校時代にダウンタウンの深夜の番組のインタビューを受け、ともだちとテレビに映るのを楽しみにしていたのですが、ボツになったという、本当にどうでもいい思い出がありまふ。

I was interviewed for a late-night show in downtown in this park when I was in high school, and I was looking forward to seeing it on TV with my friends, but I have a really irrelevant memory of being sick.
