もともと四谷の小学校だった場所を改築して作られた、東京おもちゃ美術館。東京メトロ丸の内線の四谷三丁目駅から少し歩いたところにあり、美術館の施設内には子供のための公園が隣接しています。美術館というよりお洒落な児童館といった感じの東京おもちゃ美術館。私、ココ大好きなんです。本日の「東京の小学生とおでかけ！」のテーマは新宿区・四谷にある東京おもちゃ美術館です。

東京おもちゃ美術館は東京メトロ・丸の内線「四谷三丁目駅」2番出口よりお子さま連れで徒歩7分です。（⇒うちの場合は１５分かかりますが！！）

The Tokyo Toy Museum is a 7-minute walk with children from Exit 2 of Yotsuya Sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. (⇒ In our case, it takes 15 minutes !!)

道は分かりやすいので迷わないと思います。ちなみにですが、以前あった場所（数年前に移転しました）と現在の場所はものすごく近くて道１本しか違わないのです。しかし、私はその１本を間違えてしまい、雨の中泣きながら佐川急便の人に道を教えてもらう、という恥ずかしい経験もしました。（はっちゃん、その時３歳くらい）子供小さい時のおでかけって、今考えるとやっぱり大変でしたね～、、。

四谷三丁目駅の出口２番を出ると、すぐ横に消防博物館があるんですよね。（入場料無料）子供が小学生ぐらいになったら、午前は消防博物館で午後は東京おもちゃ美術館！という夢の１日お遊びコースもできちゃいますね♡

新型コロナ感染症の影響で、すべての来館者が事前予約をしなくてはいけません。（2021年2月現在）事前予約は以下のページより可能です。10時～12時または13時半～15時半の２時間完全入れ替え制です。↓

料金はこれまで大人（中学生以上）：1,000円、こども（６か月～小学生）：700円でしたが、2021年2月6日より各100円ずつ値上がりです。コロナで営業時間を短縮してるし、仕方ないかな～。なお、チケットは見せれば再入場できます。割引はベネフィットステーションという企業の福利厚生を使うと１００円引きです。または年パス（半年）の大人：3,900円、こども：2,900円は新宿区民であれば200円割引があります。（いいな～）

Until now, the fee was 1,000 yen for adults (junior high school students and above) and 700 yen for children (6 months to elementary school students), but from February 6, 2021, the price will increase by 100 yen each. I’m shortening business hours with Corona, so I wonder if it can be helped.
If you show the ticket, you can re-enter. The discount is 100 yen if you use the welfare program of a company called Benefit Station. Alternatively, if you are a Shinjuku ward resident, you can get a 200 yen discount for adults: 3,900 yen and children: 2,900 yen for the annual pass (half a year). (Good ~)

赤ちゃんなら地下１階の木育ひろばへぜひっ♡

ハイハイができれば赤ちゃんでも十分遊べる場所が地下１階の木育広場です。０～２歳の赤ちゃん限定の、木で作られたおもちゃだらけの部屋。私が初めてはっちゃんをここに連れてきたのは、まだ彼女がハイハイしているときでした。児童館ばかりに飽きて連れてきたけれど、本当は電車に赤ちゃんを乗せるのはドキドキしました。でも、ここは連れてきてよかったです。

東京おもちゃ美術館にあるおもちゃは、電気仕掛けのおもちゃではありません。木でできたおもちゃや紙でできたおもちゃなど素朴なおもちゃ達。でも、それらが揃うと非常に見ごたえがあるし、訪れた家族は自然に遊びだします。

東京おもちゃ美術館には、おもちゃの遊び方を教えてくれるおもちゃインストラクター（学芸員）の方が常駐しています。また、おもちゃで遊ぶだけでなく工作などができるワークショップも随時開催されています。

子供のための施設なのですが、全体的に北欧を思わせるデザイン性の高さが印象的です。研ぎ澄まされたデザインは、元々学校だった校舎を使ってもオシャレに見せてしまうものなのですね。

東京都おもちゃ美術館周辺のおすすめランチ

すぐ近くには、おもちゃ修理ができる優しいおじさんのいる美味しい喫茶店があります。幼稚園で仲良しのママさんとその息子さんと、東京おもちゃ美術館へ来たことがあるのですが、四谷三丁目駅までの帰り道、右手に喫茶店があったので入ってみました。コーヒーは美味しく、ケーキも美味しく、料金はとても安かったので「ここ、いいね！」とすっかり気に入ってしまいました。

しかも、そこのマスターはおもちゃ修理が得意なマスターでとてもやさしい方でした。テレビにも出演されたことがあるそうで。おでかけをすると、東京のいろんな方に出会えて、それが楽しいです。

I’ve been to the Toy Museum in Tokyo with my mom and her son who are good friends in kindergarten. On the way back to Yotsuya Sanchome Station, there was a coffee shop on the right, so I went in. The coffee was delicious, the cake was delicious, and the price was very low, so I completely liked it “I like this place”.
