[Sumida Ward] Take a walk with your child at the Ryogoku Kokugikan! Will sumo be a playground?

はっちゃんが１～２歳のときは、まだ小さいから気を使っておでかけの場所は児童館や公園など近所がほとんどでした。

When Hatchan was 1-2 years old, she was still small, so she was careful to go out in most of the neighborhoods such as children’s halls and parks.

しかし、毎日それだとどうしても私は（つまらない）（どっか行きたい）とイライラが溜まる性分のため、①私の気分がスカッと変わり（⇒ここ重要！）、②教育上よくて、②あまり本格的に働いていない(当時）私の稼ぎでも行きやすい、安い場所を探していました。

その全てが叶う場所が「両国国技館じゃ～！」と思いつきました。今日の東京の小学生とおでかけ！のテーマは「両国国技館」です。

However, every day I get frustrated (boring) (I want to go somewhere), so (1) my mood changes suddenly (⇒ important here!), (2) good for education, (2) too much. I was looking for a cheap place that was not working in earnest (at that time) and was easy for me to earn. I came up with the idea that the place where all of this would come true was “Ryogoku Kokugikan!” Go out with elementary school students in Tokyo today! The theme of is “Ryogoku Kokugikan”.

At the Japan Sumo Tournament, you can watch sumo for 1,000 yen ♡

日本大相撲トーナメントとはフジテレビ主催で毎年２月上旬日曜日に行われている花相撲（非・普通の場所）です。懸賞金は１，０００万円以上！スゴイですね。私なんて中身がチキンなんで、勝負師にはとてもなれません。

で、このような○○場所ではない企画ものの相撲は料金に幅があります。マス席はやあり４万円とか５万円しますが（１席からは売ってないし）、この日本大相撲トーナメントの普及席という席なら1,500円で観られます。また、３歳以下のお子さまは無料です♪

The Japan Sumo Tournament is a Hanazumō (non-ordinary place) held every Sunday in early February by Fuji TV. The prize money is over 10 million yen! It’s amazing. I’m a chicken, so I can’t be a matchmaker.

So, there is a range of prices for sumo wrestling that is not a place like this. Mass seats cost 40,000 yen or 50,000 yen (not sold from 1 seat), but you can see the popular seats of this Japan Grand Sumo Tournament for 1,500 yen. Also, children under 3 years old are free ♪

「あんたが幼稚園の時にマス席をもらったのに熱で行かれなかったのよ」

You got a mass seat when you were in kindergarten, but you couldn’t go because of the heat

私は母を大好きですが、過干渉＆ネチコイ部分は好きではありません。母はたびたび私に向かって、「あんたが幼稚園の時に相撲のマス席のチケットをもらったけど、あんたが当日熱を出すからいけなかった」と千回くらい言われました。（⇒うそです、本当は１００回くらいです）

なので、私はそういう母親にならないようにしようと思います；（という事をしょっちゅう本人に言っていて、よくケンカをしかける４４歳です；）

I love my mother, but I don’t like the over-interference & nechikoi part. My mother often told me about a thousand times, “I got a ticket for a sumo mass seat when you were in kindergarten, but you couldn’t get a fever on the day.”

so I’ll try not to be such a mother;

両国国技館へはJR総武線の両国駅下車西口徒歩２分です。両国駅ってお相撲さんの手形があったり土曜があったりと、とにかくハデ。

お相撲をやっている日は駅付近にはノボリが沢山たっているので、その方向に歩いていけば間違いないっス。

露店も立ち並び、私なんかでなく真のお相撲ファンと一目でわかる方がたくさんいらっしゃいます。部屋の弟子らしき人もたくさん歩いていて、「はっちゃん！お相撲さんだよ！」と私だけがめっちゃテンションあがってます↑w

Ryogoku Kokugikan is a 2-minute walk from the west exit of Ryogoku Station on the JR Sobu Line. On the day of sumo wrestling, there are a lot of nobori near the station, so if you walk in that direction, there is no doubt.

There are many stalls, and there are many people who can tell at a glance that they are true sumo fans, not me. A lot of people who seemed to be disciples in the room were walking, and I was really excited to say, “Hatchan! Sumo-san!” ↑ w

１歳１１か月で両国国技館に連れていかれたはっちゃん！琴奨菊さんインタビュー中

Hatchan was taken to Ryogoku Kokugikan at 1 year and 11 months

私たちが行ったのは２０１６年2月７日（日）お昼前。列に並んで中に入ると、早速琴奨菊関が報道陣からインタビューを受けていました。この年、琴奨菊関は初優勝してノリに乗ってる時期でしたね。

（お相撲さん見られた～！ラッキー！）とミーハーな特徴の性格を持つワタシは気分が上がり、はっちゃんと席に着きました。そして、ちょっと気分がブルーになります。

（うわ～、これじゃ全然見えない。。）はっちゃんは最初珍しそうに館内をキョロキョロしていましたが、次第に飽きて両国国技館を公園だと思い、ちょこまかと移動しだしました。

We went on Sunday, February 7, 2016, before noon. As soon as I entered the line, Kotoshogikuseki was interviewed by the press. This year, Kotoshogikuseki won his first victory and his grades were on the rise.

仕方ないので、両国国技館でソフトクリームを食べさせました

I couldn’t help it, so I made him eat soft serve ice cream at Ryogoku Kokugikan.

両国国技館の普及席では相撲の迫力のはの字も感じられないため、２階をフラフラ。そして、１階に降りてちらっと土俵を見ると、２階と全然違って迫力がありました。

すると、はっちゃんが「ん、ん」とマス席を指さして座ろうとしています。「ごめんね～、この席は高くて。チケット買った人しか座っちゃだめなの。」と言いながら、やっぱチケット系は良い席がいいな～、と思いました。

しかし、相撲が全く初めてならまずは普及席で１階行くのもアリかも♡お土産を買ったり、近くを力士が通りかかったり、1,500円分とお散歩の価値は十分に感じられます。（Fin）
